The No Generalisation Protocol
A RAW Systems Work Model Protocol: What worked there does not live here. This system has its own logic.
What this is for: Developing the capacity to function inside a system’s unique configuration rather than applying patterns imported from elsewhere — working with what this system actually produces rather than what systems like it have been known to produce.
When to use: When you are inside a system and feel the pull to apply what worked in the last system. When the solution feels obvious because you have seen it work before. When the system’s parts are being asked to adopt approaches designed for a different system’s conditions. When the gap between what was imported and what the system can actually produce keeps widening.
The goal: To function as a part that works from this system’s actual configuration — introducing what this system needs based on what it is actually producing, rather than what a model of similar systems suggests it should need.
